With these words the national spokesperson of Forza Italia and deputy group leader in the Chamber Raffaele Nevi , interviewed by Affaritaliani.it , comments on the words of the Deputy Minister of Economy Maurizio Leo according to whom there will not be a derby scrapping - Irpef cut in the next Budget Law.
Nevi announces: " We would like the government to also work to resolve the problem of "fiscal drag", that is, the fact that with the combined effect of inflation and the contractual adjustments signed even recently, the taxpayer risks moving to the highest rate and ruining these contractual increases".
"Forza Italia - underlines the national spokesperson of the party led by Deputy Prime Minister Antonio Tajani - then asks that the budget includes a cut in the Irpef rate from 35 to 33% for incomes up to 60 thousand euros so that a reduction in taxes for the middle class comes into force from January 1, 2026. We are not against the new scrapping of tax bills, if there is the possibility of launching both measures, good, but the priority for us remains the reduction of Irpef for the middle class ".
And finally the sugar tax postponed yesterday by the Council of Ministers until January 2026. " We ask that it not come into force, ever.
